Environmental Efforts!

Andrea Kent is escorting a group of high school students to Costa Rica in conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America's standard and approval. This youth led activity, with adult supervision, is the first Community Service Crew trip to Costa Rica, but certainly, not the last. Andrea has an intimate knowledge of Costa Rica (her family own and operate Vista Del Valle Hotel where the students will be staying).

The main service project will be a creek clean-up, led by the local Covirena Group (Vigilance Committee of Natural Resources) and the youth from Piedmont, California will partner with youth from Costa Rica to tackle this environmental assignment.

However, this trip won't just be all work and no play. Andrea has been busy organizing rafting trips, zip lines, and a day at the Hot Springs for those inclined to seek adventure.
